Check your current layout
From the title menu, open Settings → Assignments. The controller configuration offers Preset 1, Preset 2 and Custom. Follow the assignments on your own screen after changing presets.
The reference table maps Instant Skill to C / R1. Check the assignment screen before practicing it: other published instructions conflict on the PlayStation input. The available remapping and sensitivity options do not imply that every input can be rebound.
Bite, Parry and camera basics
Attack to build the Bite gauge, then Bite when you need health. Stupid Parry does not make you immune to damage; red, unparryable attacks require a different response. There is no conventional roll or guard button to rely on.
Combat Camera Assist is a camera option introduced in the Demo update. It is not a newly added enemy lock-on button. You can also revisit tutorials through the game’s menus.
